CERTIFICATIONS & QUALITY ASSURANCE

Proof in the process.
Confidence in the outcome.

From inventory and custody records to final testing, we describe the evidence available for each agreed asset disposition service—without making unsupported certification claims.

DOCUMENTED ASSURANCE

Different outcomes.
Different supporting records.

Documentation depends on what equipment was received, the work actually performed and the agreed service scope. A test record is not the same as an independently accredited certificate.

01 /

Asset receipt and inventory

Recorded intake quantities, identifiable assets, handovers and custody references where captured.

Asset management
02 /

Inspection and test results

Recorded diagnostics, applicable component checks, pass/fail findings and quality-control outcomes.

Quality workflow
03 /

Refurbished device status

Internal “Certified Refurbished Equipment” status only after an eligible unit passes documented QCC tests.

What this means
04 /

Disposal or recovery records

Agreed disposition and downstream evidence, where available and supported by the actual handling route.

INTERNAL PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION

What “Certified Refurbished” means.

For eligible devices, the QCC programme uses a documented internal inspection and acceptance process before designating a unit as Certified Refurbished Equipment. The result is tied to the individual asset and its applicable warranty terms.

  • Identified asset and traceable repair history
  • Recorded final testing against applicable criteria
  • Condition grade and approved sales-stock release
  • Warranty scope, duration and exclusions recorded

This designation is an internal QCC product status, not a claim of external laboratory accreditation or certification by an independent standards body.

COMPANY CREDENTIALS

Verify every certification
before relying on it.

Third-party certifications, environmental permits, industry memberships and authorisations are entity- and scope-specific. Only current documents that have been checked against the issuer should appear here.

No third-party certificates are currently published.

The verified credentials register is awaiting approved documentation. This does not indicate that digitalHUB QCC holds a particular ISO certification, e-waste permit, recycler registration or third-party accreditation.

Before publication, confirm the legal entity, certificate or permit number, issuer, permitted activity and geographic scope, issue and expiry dates, and whether independent validation is available.

SCOPE MATTERS

Request the evidence relevant to your assets.

For corporate, government, industrial and education clients, a collection record or device-level report should be matched to the actual contract, applicable regulatory requirements and processing route.

  • Intake and asset-identifier reconciliation where applicable
  • Custody and consignment movement records
  • Data erasure or physical media destruction evidence only where commissioned, performed and verified
  • Recycling, transfer or disposal confirmation supported by the responsible handler
Enquire about documentation

Important distinction: assurance is not accreditation

Documentation of an internal inspection, a refurbishment grade or a chain of custody does not prove ISO certification, official recycler accreditation, POPIA compliance certification, or statutory environmental authorisation. Those claims require separately verifiable documents from their issuing authorities.
